Nick began his career at the Carlton Hotel in Johannesburg, quickly ascending from a mail-and-office clerk to the front-office manager, where he met his long-time business partner, executive chef Eric Edwards.

Together, they founded Eat Greek Caterers in 1991 and opened the popular Eat Greek restaurant on Broadway in 1995, which served as a staple of Greek dining for a decade. The duo’s ventures evolved over the years, leading to their celebrated Greek-Mediterranean Sunday buffet lunches, initially at the Hellenic Centre in Durban North and now hosted monthly at the Anchorage at PYC.
